The CSTD Bureau is composed of a chair and four vice-chairs.
A bureau is elected at each regular session.
At its 15th session, the commission elected for the 16th session a bureau comprised of the following:
- Mr. Miguel Palomino de la Gala (Peru), Chair
- Ms. Thato Regina Mosisili (Lesotho)
- Mr. Andrew Reynolds (United States)
- Mr. Peter Major (Hungary)
- Mr. Mohammad Kazem Asayesh Talab Tousi (Islamic Republic of Iran)
