The UNCTAD/African Insurance Organisation (AIO) Ratings Facility, established with the assistance of Standard & Poor’s, and A.M. Best, is continuing.

To date, 20 African insurance companies have been rated under the scheme and UNCTAD continues to provide assistance at meetings as a member of the Ratings Board.
