Ministers and experts gather to discuss investment, innovation and entrepreneurship at two-day meeting

Geneva, Switzerland, 15 March 2016

Ongoing reform of the notoriously complex international investment agreements regime in line with today's sustainable development imperative is the subject of a panel discussion on Wednesday 16 March (10am–1pm) with contributions from, among others, Serbia's Assistant Minister, Ministry of Economy and Regional Development Bojana Todorovic.

The panel discussion is the first during a two-day gathering of experts and ministers from developed and developing countries to discuss ways of boosting development outcomes (the Multi-year Expert Meeting on Investment, Innovation and Entrepreneurship for Productive Capacity-building and Sustainable Development).

On the afternoon of its second-day (Thursday 17 March, 3–6pm), panellists, including Ecuador's Minister of Trade and Productivity Eduardo Egas, Cameroon's Minister of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, Social Economy and Handicrafts Laurent Serge Etoundi Ngoa, and Humza Yousaf, Minister for Europe and International Development, Scottish Parliament, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, will discuss entrepreneurship and sustainable development.
