This will be the fourth event organized within the framework of the USAID-funded project to assist in the implementation of the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement.
Financed by USAID, the event will address Côte d’Ivoire’s National Trade Facilitation Committee (NTFC) members. The objectives are to:
- Strengthen their capacity to assess their country Trade Facilitation current level of reform and performance based on various sets of macro data that are available online;
- Introduce them to the Result Based Management (RBM) approach in developing their capacity to monitor and evaluate the progress their country makes in achieving what has been set out in their implementation plan;
- Use the RBM approach to also improve their monitoring and evaluation approach on their future capacity building and external communication plans;
- Reflect on the best practices of NTFCs of other developing countries in ensuring the sustainability of their committees and discuss potential key elements that would enhance the sustainability of Côte d’Ivoire’s NTFC.
