UNCTAD will organize a Coaching Workshop in Manila, Philippines, as part of its TrainForTrade* Port Training Programme. The workshop will train 20 senior managers from member ports in Ghana, Indonesia and the Philippines on the TrainForTrade methodology for organizing, delivering and assessing training workshops. The Coaching Workshop is an import element of UNCTAD's strategy to ensure the sustainability of the programme.
The event also marks the beginning of the first cycle of the Port Training Programme in the Philippines, the newest member of the English-speaking network of the programme.
*TrainForTrade is a programme of the Human Resources DevelopmentSection, Knowledge Sharing, Training and Capacity Development Branch, in the Division on Technology and Logistics, UNCTAD.
