UNCTAD at the 2015 WSIS Forum
UNCTAD is co-organizer of the 2015 World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) Forum, the world's largest annual gathering of the 'ICT for development' community. UNCTAD will play an active role in the high-level segment and as co-facilitator, moderator and panelist at various sessions.
All stakeholders in the information society and the general public are invited to take part in the 2015 WSIS Forum.

08:00-09:00 (closed session) | UNCTAD Secretary-General Mukhisa Kituyi will preside over the High-Level Meeting of the UN Group on the Information Society (UNGIS) as UNCTAD takes over the UNGIS Chairmanship from ITU for a one-year term. |
09:00-10:30 Auditorium WIPO | UNCTAD Secretary-General Mukhisa Kituyi will address the Opening Ceremony |
15:00-16:00 Auditorium WIPO | UNCTAD Deputy Secretary-General Joakim Reiter will serve as a panelist on the high level dialogue on the Post-2015 Sustainable Development Goals and WSIS Action Lines. |

11:15-13:00 Room K, ITU Montbrillant | UNCTAD will participate in the action line C5 on Building confidence and security in the use ICTs: A vital component of the Post-2015 Sustainable Development Agenda, organized by the ITU. |
15:00-16:30 Room C1, ITU Tower | In collaboration with the ITC and UPU, UNCTAD co-organizes the session "International e-commerce for developing countries: Practical case studies in overcoming barriers to trade through digital channels". |
