The simulation exercise is part of the distance-learning course on trade in services developed for trade officials and negotiators of Laos and Cambodia. The course’s objective is to improve knowledge of the agreement on trade in services and build the capacity of the negotiating teams of Cambodia and Laos to play an effective role in multilateral trade negotiations. The simulation exercise on trade negotiations in financial services allows the participants to apply the theoretical knowledge they have acquired to concrete aspects of negotiations.
