Key Issues
The objective of the national workshop is to:
review the GATS agreement and the current negotiations on trade in services in the WTO;
discuss the country´s perspective on the multilateral and regional negotiations relating to services;
review the liberalization of trade in services at the regional level and the experience of SADC in this regard; and
hold in-depth discussions on the six priority sectors identified by SADC countries for their regional negotiations.
