Key Issues


In preparation for UNCTAD XII (20-25 April 2008), Accra, Ghana, UNCTAD, the Government of India (Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas) and the Federation of India Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) are jointly organizing the India-Africa Hydrocarbons Conference and Exhibition.

The objective of the conference is to promote a mutually beneficial partnership between Indian and African public-and private-sector companies and also to showcase India´s capabilities in the field of oil and gas. It will provide a unique opportunity for key players in the hydrocarbon sector to forge partnerships in the form of joint ventures, investments and technology transfer, supply of equipment, consultancy services, etc.
