Key Issues

The ad-hoc expert group meeting will discuss the role of competition law and policy in promoting economic growth and development, and focus on the issue of:

  • Whether developing countries should worry about abuse of dominance.

  • What role intellectual property rights, (IPR) can play in development, including innovation and technology transfer.

The meeting will bring together experts from both developed and developing countries, and economies in transition.
