The research workshop is organized for trade policy researchers and policymakers in Asia to exchange views on recent researches and their findings on the factors determining economic and trade diversification in developing and the least developed countries in Asia.

The main focus is placed on identifying policy measures that would support the development of new and dynamic sectors of exports and trade promotion.

Special attention is given to the conditions faced by Asian LDCs.
