The twenty-fourth executive session of the Trade and Development Board will be resumed on Friday, 12 May 2000. The session will open at 10 a.m. in Room XX of the Palais des Nations, Geneva.
Under item 2 of the agenda (TD/B/EX(24)/1), on the follow-up to the outcome of the tenth session of the Conference, the President of the Board will report on his consultations relating to the proposal to evaluate activities in accordance with indicators of achievement (TD/B/EX(24)/L.3, para.3). In addition, the Secretary-General of UNCTAD will report on the issue of the implementation of paragraph 166 of the Plan of Action adopted at UNCTAD X (TD/386).
Permanent representatives of States members of the Board are requested to inform the Secretary-General of UNCTAD of their intention to attend, or alternatively, to indicate the name and designation of their representative.
Other participants (i.e. members of UNCTAD not members of the Board, the specialized agencies, intergovernmental bodies and non-governmental organizations wishing to attend as observers) are requested to advise the Secretary-General of UNCTAD of the names of their representatives.
