Competition Commission of India: Workshop on Competition Law Enforcement and Stated Owned Enterprises

To mark its anniversary, the Competition Commission of India organizes a workshop jointly with UNCTAD on one of key policy issues in India, where state owned enterprises constitute an important segment of the economy.  

 

Purpose of the event 

 

The workshop aims to bring together representatives from various competition authorities, federal government ministries and state owned enterprises, and non-governmental advisors in order to exchange experiences and perspectives concerning competition law enforcement vis-a-vis state-owned enterprises. 

Expected outcome / Deliverables 

 

The workshop is expected to provide helpful insights and inputs concerning the competition law enforcement against SOEs, and to facilitate consultations with various stakeholders, thereby contributing to the development of an effective enforcement framework against SOEs in India.
