Implementing the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement in Ghana: Understanding International Standards and Recommendations for Trade Facilitation

​This will be the third event in Ghana organized within the framework of the UK-funded project  to assist in the implementation of the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement.

Jointly organized with the World Customs Organization (WCO) and financed by Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC), the event will address Ghana National Trade Facilitation Committee members. The objectives are to:
- Deliver Module 1 of UNCTAD's Empowerment Program for the Members of the Ghana National Trade Facilitation Committee (NTFC);
- Increase Ghana NTFC members' understanding on trade facilitation indicators as well as the implication of trade facilitation for global supply chain management;
- Improve Ghana NTFC members' knowledge on trade facilitation international standards and legal framework, including UN/CEFACT Recommendations and other UNECE tools, WCO Revised Kyoto Convention, and World Trade Organization (WTO) Trade Facilitation Agreement.
