Review of the implementation of the communications strategy and publications policy of UNCTAD

The Trade and Development Board at its fifty-sixth session approved the communications strategy and publications policy of UNCTAD as set out in documents TD/B/56/9/Rev.1 and TD/B/56/10/Rev.1.

It requested the secretariat to report to the Board annually on the implementation of the communications strategy and publications policy, through the Working Party.

In this regard, the Working Party will consider a report of the Secretary-General of UNCTAD on the implementation of the communications strategy and the publications policy, informally discuss the list of publications planned for 2014 and review the results of the survey of publications issued in 2013.

The Working Party on the Strategic Framework and the Programme Budget at its sixty-sixth session in December 2013 took note of the draft UNCTAD fundraising strategy, recognized its importance and decided on its further consideration at the sixty-seventh session of the Working Party.
