The workshop will provide the opportunity to present the findings of the study: Who is benefiting from trade liberalization in Rwanda? A gender perspective.

The workshop will bring together policymakers, trade negotiators and national stakeholders, and will provide them with the opportunity to discuss different approaches towards maximizing the social inclusiveness of trade policy, with a focus on women.

Previous national workshops on trade and gender were held in Luanda, Angola (November 2013) Maseru, Lesotho (December 2012), in Praia, Cape Verde (September 2012) and in Thimphu, Bhutan (May 2011).
