The workshop, organized jointly by the UNCTAD and UNESCAP secretariats, will rally some 60 representatives of governments, the private sector, academia and NGOs from China, Malaysia, Philippines and Thailand.

The electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) sector is one of the most dynamic in world trade and exports of these 4 developing countries account for 42% of the total imports of EEE by developed countries.
