Notification

At its 977th plenary meeting, on 14 October 2005, the Trade and Development Board decided to hold a resumed fifty-second session to finalize its agreed conclusions on agenda item 5 - Economic development in Africa: The role of foreign direct investment in growth and development. The resumed session will take place on 7 November 2005. It will open at 10 a.m. in Room XXI of the Palais des Nations, Geneva.

Permanent representatives of States members of the Board are requested to inform the UNCTAD secretariat of their intention to attend, or alternatively, to indicate the name and title of their representative by 3 November 2005.

Other participants (i.e. members of UNCTAD not members of the Board, the specialized agencies, intergovernmental bodies and non-governmental organizations wishing to attend as observers) are requested to advise the UNCTAD secretariat of the names of their representatives by the same date.
