In accordance with paragraph 6 of the agreed conclusions adopted at the first part of its thirty-seventh session, the Working Party will resume its thirty-seventh session from
11 to 12 June 2001. The Meeting will open at 10 a.m. on Monday, 11 June 2001, in
Room XXVI, at the Palais des Nations, Geneva.
Members of the Working Party and other interested delegations are invited to a briefing to be held on Wednesday, 6 June 2001, at 3 p.m. in room E.8121 of the Palais des Nations.
The Working Party will have before it the UNCTAD section of the proposed programme budget for the biennium 2002 and 2003 (see attachment), which is also available on the UNCTAD website.
The agenda, as adopted during the first part of its session, is contained in document TD/B/WP/135.
Members of the Working Party (see list attached) are requested to submit to the Secretary-General of UNCTAD by Friday, 8 June 2001, the names of their representatives, alternate representatives and advisers who will participate in the session. Other States members of UNCTAD, United Nations bodies and programmes, specialized agencies and other intergovernmental bodies, who may wish to participate in the session as observers, are also requested to inform the Secretary-General of UNCTAD by the same date of the names of their representatives.
