The second part of the fortieth session of the Working Party on the Medium-term Plan and the Programme Budget will be held from 21 to 23 May 2003 and will convene at 10 a.m. in room XXVI of the Palais des Nations, Geneva.

The provisional agenda for the session was circulated under the symbol TD/B/WP/158. The fascicle for the proposed programme budget 2004-2005 was also circulated under the symbol A/58/6 (sect.12) and is available in all languages. Additional copies of the programme budget for 2004-2005 are now available at the UNCTAD secretariat in room E-8103.

Members of the Working Party (see list below) are requested to submit to the Secretary-General of UNCTAD by 15 May 2003 the names of their representatives who will participate in the session. Other States members of UNCTAD, United Nations bodies and programmes, specialized agencies and other intergovernmental bodies, who may wish to participate in the session as observers, are also requested to inform the Secretary-General of UNCTAD by the same date of the names of their representatives.
