aims to assist developing
countries to compile timely,
accurate and internationally
comparable statistics on foreign
direct investment (FDI) and on
the operations of transnational
corporations (TNCs). The overall
objective is to promote a better
understanding of the FDI situation
in their respective economies
and to assist policymakers in
formulating development-oriented
FDI policies.
