31 May 10 - ILO joins the Cluster

ILO joins the ClusterOn behalf of the all the agencies of the UN-Chief Executives' Board Cluster on Trade and Productive Capacity, UNCTAD is pleased to inform that the International Labour Office joined the Cluster on 28 May 2010.


The International Labour Office (ILO) is the 14th member of the Cluster, and since last year it has been actively involved in the design of joint programmes of the Cluster, particularly in the case of Lao PDR, that will be financed by Switzerland, and in the forthcoming UN Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF) of Ukraine.

The Cluster includes UNCTAD, UNIDO, FAO, WTO, ITC, UNDP, UNEP, ILO, UN-ECLAC, UN-ECE, UN-ESCAP, UN-ECA, UN-ESCWA, UNOPS.
