Norway's 2012 contribution to UNCTAD

Norway's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and UNCTAD signed an agreement on 3 December to cover the 2012 Norwegian contribution to UNCTAD's technical cooperation activities.

The contribution of 3 million kroner, which approximates to about US$533,202, will be used to finance activities to be implemented in 2013 in the following six main areas of UNCTAD's technical cooperation work:

Trade Facilitation and ASYCUDA Regional Centre in Southern and Eastern Africa
Least Developed Countries (Trust Fund)
Gender in Trade Policy
Strengthening Result Management of UNCTAD Programme
Capacity-Building for Investment for Development
WTO Accession
