Minister of Industry and Commerce Michael Bimha says inequality between nations makes UNCTAD's mission more relevant than ever as he passes on 50th anniversary congratulations.
UNCTAD is helping Ecuador to develop national “green sectors” that will expand exports and employment, while promoting sustainable development, in the first stage of a new programme on green export potential and policies.
UNCTAD’s Competition and Consumer Policies branch outlined the organization’s work on e-commerce and the progress made in revising the UN guidelines on consumer protection at an International Consumer Protection Enforcement Network (ICPEN) event in Panama, 20-23 May 2014.
