ISAR assists developing countries and economies in transition to implement best practices in corporate transparency and accounting in order to facilitate investment flows and economic development. ISAR achieves this through an integrated process of research, intergovernmental consensus building, information dissemination and technical cooperation. ISAR has a number of areas of work, including: IFRS implementation, accounting by SMEs, corporate governance disclosure, corporate responsibility reporting, and environmental reporting.
