The forty-third executive session of the Trade and Development Board will be held on Monday, 3 March 2008. The session will open at 3 p.m. in Room XVIII of the Palais des Nations, Geneva.
The provisional agenda will consist of the following items:

- Preparations for UNCTAD XII
The briefing on the substantive programme of the Conference, including the High-level Segment and the round tables, will be dealt with under agenda item 2. The draft provisional programme of the Conference is attached for your information. This programme is still subject to revision.
In light of the executive session, the hearing with civil society and the private sector will now take place at 10 a.m. on Monday, 3 March 2008, in Room XXVI of the Palais des Nations.
Permanent representatives of States members of the Board are requested to inform the UNCTAD secretariat of their intention to attend or, alternatively, to indicate the name and title of their representative.
Other participants (i.e. representatives of members of UNCTAD that are not members of the Board and representatives of the specialized agencies, intergovernmental bodies and non-governmental organizations wishing to attend as observers) are requested to advise the UNCTAD secretariat of the names of their representatives.
