Live session on trade in services negotiations for Angola

During this session, course participants will have an opportunity to interact with the course instructor, Mr. Luiz Eduardo Salles, and ask him questions, as well as inform UNCTAD about where Angola stands concerning trade negotiations within the SADC-EU EPA and AfCFTA. The session will be hybrid.

Mr. Salles will present the course briefly to participants and answer questions. Then Ms. Marcela Santos de Carvalho will present her perspective based on her experience in the area of trade negotiations and stakeholder consultations in Brazil. This will be followed by Mr. Bruno Antunes, who will talk about the contribution of services and trade in services to economic development and structural transformation. The instructor and other speaker will then address questions participants may have or have posted on the course’s class forum.

Sessão ao vivo sobre negociações sobre comércio de serviços para Angola

Durante esta sessão, os participantes do curso terão a oportunidade de interagir com o instructor do curso, o Sr. Luiz Eduardo Salles e fazer perguntas, bem como informar a CNUCED sobre a posição de Angola relativamente às negociações comerciais no âmbito do APE SADC-UE e da ZCLCA. A sessão será hibrida.

O Sr. Salles apresentará brevemente o curso aos participantes e responderá as perguntas. De seguida, a Sra. Marcela Santos de Carvalho apresentará a sua perspetiva com base na sua experiência na área das negociações comerciais e consultas às partes interessadas no Brasil. Seguir-se-á o Sr. Bruno Antunes, que falará sobre a contribuição dos serviços e do comércio de serviços para o desenvolvimento económico e a transformação estrutural. A formadora e o outro orador responderão depois a questões que os participantes possam ter ou que tenham colocado no fórum do curso.
