Description: Ghana has introduced its National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Plan (NEIP) with a view to providing integrated national support for start-ups and small businesses. It covers a wide range of measures, including: tax incentives, opening up government procurement to SMEs, entrepreneurship education in schools, training for startups and scale ups, the creation of publicly managed investment fund, start up space, agri-entrepreneurship facilities and online services. Underpinning these measures is a strategic focus on encouraging sustainable entrepreneurship.

Aim: To enable entrepreneurship in all sectors of Ghana’s society, to fulfil the country’s ‘long-term strategic vision of consolidating it middle-income status, building an industry-driven economy capable of providing decent jobs that are suitable and sustainable for development.’
