Key Issues

​Lao Organic Agriculture Forum (LOAF) is a platform to facilitate information- and experience sharing among stakeholders interested in organic agriculture development in Lao PDR. The Forum is aim to encourage public-private partnership and dialogue and open to all stakeholders including producer organizations, trader associations, environmental groups, research institutions, and consumer associations.

The L-NOF is initiated by UNCTAD under the UN Inter Agency Cluster on Trade and Productive Capacity project "Enhancing sustainable tourism, clean production and export capacity in Lao PDR". The first Forum meeting was held on 23rd March 2012 in Vientiane city.

Covid-19 Advisory
In view of the current situation concerning the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), it has been decided in the public interest to postpone all UNCTAD meetings scheduled in May 2020, including those listed below. New dates will be communicated in due time.
