DESCRIPTION:Inter-sessional Panel\, held between annual sessions of the Com
 mission on Science and Technology for Development\, is a high-level United
  Nations gathering that brings together governments\, experts\, and civil 
 society to analyze &quot\;priority themes&quot\; in science\, technology\,
  and innovation for development.The Panel acts as a key forum for identify
 ing emerging technology trends—such as AI or digital transformation—an
 d providing actionable\, evidence-based policy recommendations to the UN E
 conomic and Social Council (ECOSOC).At the meeting\, the Chair of the Work
 ing Group on Data Governance as Relevant for Development at All Levels wil
 l also report on the progress the Working Group will have made in preparin
 g the progress report for submission to the General Assembly at its eighty
 -first session.The findings and recommendations of the panel will be consi
 dered at the thirtieth session of the Commission from 19-23 April 2027.Par
 ticipation and registrationParticipants will include representatives from 
 national Governments\, international organizations\, the private sector an
 d civil society.Representatives of other organizations\, including non-gov
 ernmental organizations in the general and special categories\, should hol
 d consultative status with the Economic and Social Council or have receive
 d accreditation from the World Summit on the Information Society.&lt\;p&gt
