 day global-level capacity-building workshop convenes policymakers from LLD
 Cs and some transit countries\, with technical experts and practitioners t
 o strengthen evidence-based approaches for developing and financing trade 
 and transport connectivity.Expected outcomesStrengthened ability of partic
 ipating experts to estimate transport and trade costs\, identify the bindi
 ng constraints to national trade competitiveness and identify policy optio
 ns (at national\, regional and global level) for addressing high trade cos
 ts\;Improved capacity to prepare bankable transport infrastructure project
 s to expand or upgrade transport infrastructure.Policy recommendations to
