The sixty-seventh session of the General Assembly, held on 21 December 2012, adopted resolution 67/195 which invited the Chair of the CSTD to establish the Working Group on Enhanced Cooperation.
Following the first meeting of the Working Group on Enhanced Cooperation (WGEC) to the CSTD which was held on 30-31 May in Geneva, the use of a questionnaire was adopted as the primary means to collect stakeholder views on various aspects of enhanced cooperation.
The Questionnaire of the WGEC is now closed and no further submissions are able to be made. I would like to thank all Members for their participation.

Participation of observers from the non-member State categories
Due to the security regulations of the Palais des Nations and the space restrictions of the room where the second meeting of the WGEC will be held, the participation of non-member states observers will be limited to the first 20-25 organizations that express their interest in attend this event.
The allocation of the places will be made on a first-come first-served basis. Consequently, we encourage the organizations interested in attend the meeting to send the information of their delegations (name and affiliation) to wgec@unctad.org as soon as possible.
Please note that the Secretariat will be hard-pressed to arrange entry without compliance to this process.
