DESCRIPTION:The Digital Economy Report: Pacific Edition 2022 will be presen
 ted to representatives of Permanent Missions and other stakeholders in Gen
 eva on Thursday\, 16 February 2023. The event will be hosted by UNCTAD and
  jointly organized with the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat (PIFS). \n\
 nThis first regional edition of UNCTAD’s flagship Digital Economy Report
  examines the development and policy implications of the emerging digital 
 economy in the Pacific. The presentation of the report will be followed by
  reflections by the H.E. Ms. Mere Falemaka\, Ambassador and Permanent Repr
 esentative\, Pacific Island Forum Permanent Delegation to the United Natio
 ns\, on challenges and opportunities related to digital development in the
  Pacific\, and the importance of building inclusive digital economies. \n
 \nThe development of the Digital Economy Report: Pacific Edition 2022 impl
 ements one of the key priority measures in the PIFS-led Pacific Regional E
 -commerce Strategy and Roadmap.  The report is also one of the key delive
 rables of the Pacific Digital Economy Programme\, jointly administered by 
 UNCDF\, UNCTAD and UNDP\, and financially supported by Australia.\n&lt\;p&
