A virtual Expert Group Meeting on the Methodology of Data Collection for reporting on the SDG 12.6.1 was organized on 29 April 2021. The meeting was convened by UNCTAD in response to the requirements of the Inter-agency and Expert Group on SDGs with a view to collect different perspectives and to deliberate on possible updates to the Methodology of data collection on the SDG 12.6.1. Representatives of experts from various key stakeholders in the area of reporting and data collection on the SDGs, including statisticians, representatives of the NSOs and big data companies participated in the discussion.
