The webinar will discuss the current market disruption in container shipping, with a special focus on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). It will highlight medium to long-term remedies that may prevent similar future occurrences. The current situation in liner shipping is unprecedented and dramatically affecting developing countries. The main presentation will focus on the situation in Asia and how the surge in freight rates and the logistical constraints caused by the recent equipment shortages are affecting countries in the region.
