UNCTAD will host the kick-off meeting of the Informal Working Group on Cross-border Cartels (Informal WG on CBCs) during this webinar.
Established in 2020, this Working Group has become a key platform for international cooperation. It provides a dedicated space for competition authorities to strengthen collective efforts and share valuable experiences in addressing cross-border cartels.
Following the decision taken at the 23rd session of the IGE on Competition Law and Policy in July 2026 to renew the mandate of the Informal WG on CBCs, this webinar is convened to discuss and finalize the work plan for the 2026–2027 cycle.
The webinar will serve as a forum for dialogue among competition officials. It will also provide participants with an opportunity to strengthen professional networks and explore effective approaches for cooperation towards promoting fair and competitive global markets.
