The "Tanzania Investment Window" will be developed on the basis of UNCTAD's electronic single window system on registration (eRegistrations), already successfully adapted to several countries in Latin America and Africa.

Financed by UNDP and the ONE UN programme, online company creation follows the clarification and simplification of procedures undertaken in 2012 and 2013 by the Tanzania Investment Center, with UNCTAD's assistance and One UN funding, through the installation of the eRegulations portal.
More than 30 procedures, over 140 steps, a directory of entities in charge, 150 administrative forms and a database of laws are available online at: www.tic.co.tz.
The system was officially inaugurated by Prime Minister Mizengo P. Pinda, last October in Guangzhou, China.
Aiming at further improving its services, the Tanzania Investment Center has now embarked on setting up an electronic investment window, which will allow investors to register companies and, progressively, to obtain investment certificates, work permits and tax exemptions online.
