 nce\, Technology and Development (CSTD)\, a special event will discuss th
 e role of start-ups in addressing today&#039\;s most pressing development 
 challenges.\n\nThe CSTD is the United Nations&#039\; home for discussions 
 on science and technology - what&#039\;s new\, what matters\, what&#039\;s
  changing and what the impact is - and how this affects development and a 
 sustainable future for all.\n\nThe special event will debate the role of 
 the private sector and\, more precisely\, the role of start-ups in address
 ing global development challenges.\n\nIt will also discuss how start-ups a
 re contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by designing i
 nnovative technological solutions to these challenges.\n\nDiscussants:\n\n
