DESCRIPTION:Meeting background and objectives\n\nThe ministerial level Stee
 ring Committee of the ACOM project funded by the European Union in Angola
  had its second ordinary meeting on 11 December 2020. UNCTAD implements 
 one of the originally three components of the ACOM project\, the EU-UNCTAD
  Joint Programme for Angola: Train for Trade II. This is the only componen
 t of the ACOM project still in implementation. The meeting reviewed the r
 esults achieved through the implementation of the Train for Trade II Progr
 amme so far\, and considered the approval of the following documents:\n\n\
 nThe Train for Trade II Programme’s consolidated work plan for 2021\;\nT
 he revised Logical Framework for the Train for Trade II Programme\; as wel
 l as\nThe adoption of new complementary work areas to be implemented with 
 additional funds made available by the European Union.\n\n\nOutcomes\n\nTh
 e Steering Committee approved the Train for Trade II Programme’s workpla
 n for 2021. Furthermore\, it approved an addendum to be made to the agreem
 ent between UNCTAD and the European Union\, adding complementary work stre
 ams in line with prior requests by the  Ministry of Industry and Commerce
  of Angola and increasing the total funding of the Programme\, dedicated
  to these new work areas. Furthermore\, the revised Logical Framework for 
 the Programme was approved\, and the implementation period extended to Jul

 \nAntecedentes e objetivos do encontro\n\nO Comité de Pilotagem a nível 
 ministerial do projeto ACOM financiado pela União Europeia em Angola real
 izou a sua segunda reunião ordinária no 11 de Dezembro de 2020. A CNUCED
  implementa uma das inicialmente três componentes do projeto ACOM\, o Pro
 grama Conjunto UE-CNUCED para Angola: Train for Trade II. Este é a únic
 a componente do projeto ACOM ainda em implementação. Na reunião foram a
 nalisados os resultados alcançados pelo Programa até agora. Além disso\
 , a reunião considerou a aprovação dos seguintes documentos:\n\n\nPlano
  de actividades consolidado do Programa Train for Trade II para 2021\;\nO 
 Quadro Lógico revisado do Programa Train for Trade II\; assim como\nA ado
 ção de novas áreas de trabalho complementares a serem implementadas com
  fundos adicionais disponibilizados pela União Europeia.\n\n\nResultados\
 n\nO Comité de Pilotagem aprovou o plano de trabalho do Programa Train f
 or Trade II para 2021. Além disso\, aprovou uma adenda a ser elaborada 
 ao acordo entre a CNUCED e a UE\, acrescentando fluxos de trabalho complem
 entares em linha com pedidos anteriores do Ministério da Indústria e Com
 ércio de Angola e aumentando o financiamento total do Programa\, dedicad
 o a essas novas áreas de trabalho. Além disso\, o Quadro Lógico revisad
 o para o Programa foi aprovado e o período de implementação estendido a
