 e development\nTheme 2: Science\, technology and innovation for sustainabl
 e urban development in a post-pandemic world\n\n\nThe Commission will also
  review progress made in the implementation of the outcomes of the World S
 ummit on the Information Society.\n\nThe findings and recommendations of t
 he panel will be considered at the twenty-fifth session of the Commission 
 in 2022.\n\nParticipation and registration\n\nParticipants will include re
 presentatives from national Governments\, international organizations\, th
 e private sector and civil society. Representatives of other organizations
 \, including non-governmental organizations in the general and special cat
 egories\, should hold consultative status with the Economic and Social Cou
 ncil or have received accreditation from the World Summit on the Informati
 on Society.\n\nLogistics\n\nThe meeting will be held with physical partici
 pation\, in room XIX of the Palais des Nations\, and remote participation\
 , through a simultaneous interpretation platform in the six official langu
 ages of the United Nations.\n\nA link to the formal virtual meeting will b
 e sent to registered participants\, at the email address used for registra
 tion\, one day in advance of the start of the meeting.\n\nTo facilitate th
 e approval of registration\, permanent missions should confirm the list of
  participating delegates by means of a note verbale or by email by 10 Nove
