 l Group of Experts on Consumer Protection Law and Policy at its fifth sess
 ion the deliberations at the sixth session will focus on the following top
 ics:\n\n\nReport on the implementation of the United Nations guidelines fo
 r consumer protection by member States and relevant stakeholders\nLatest d
 evelopments in legal and institutional frameworks: UNCTAD world consumer p
 rotection map\nReports of the working groups on:\n\nConsumer product safet
 y\nConsumer protection in electronic commerce\nModalities of UNCTAD volunt
 ary peer reviews of competition and consumer protection laws and policies\
 n\n\nModalities for the implementation of the recommendation on preventing
  the cross-border distribution of known unsafe consumer products\nFinancia
 l consumer protection\, including financial education and literacy\nConsum
 er protection in the provision of health services\nVoluntary peer review o
 f consumer protection law and policy: Thailand\nReview of capacity-buildin
 g in and technical assistance on consumer protection law and policy\n\n\nW
 ritten contributions\n\nIn order to facilitate the deliberations and the i
 nformal exchange of experiences and best practices on the topics to be dis
 cussed\, member States and observers are requested to submit written contr
 ibutions to Jacqueline.bouvier@unctad.org by Friday\, 24 June 2022\, to al
 low participants to prepare themselves for the meeting.\n\nParticipation a
 nd registration\n\nThis meeting is open to all member States of UNCTAD. Ot
 her organizations\, including specialized agencies\, intergovernmental bod
 ies and non-governmental organizations in the general category\, may parti
 cipate as observers.\n\nOnline registration is mandatory for all those wis
 hing to attend the meeting and is required for inclusion in the list of pa
