  for the best young academic research work on international investment and
  development. The award is intended for PhD students or early career resea
 rchers with no more than five years of full-time work experience.\n\nUNCTA
 D and AIB invite contributions that provide state-of-the-art knowledge and
  understanding of the activities conducted by\, and the development impact
  of\, multinational enterprises and other international investors\, consid
 ering economic\, institutional\, social\, environmental or cultural aspect
 s. Contributions should draw clear policy conclusions from the research fi
 ndings.\n\nReflecting the core value propositions of UNCTAD’s research m
 andate\, the winning papers should meet the following criteria:\n\n\nOrigi
 nal and innovative research\;\nTopical issues with a discussion of policy 
 implications\;\nFocus on development (i.e.\, how to ensure that internatio
 nal investment and multinational enterprises contribute to sustainable dev
 elopment).\n\n\nThe paper must not have been previously published. Co-auth
 orship is permitted provided all authors meet the stated conditions.\n\nSu
 bmissions must be sent to unctad@aib.world by 31 March 2022.\n\nMore detai
