DESCRIPTION:The United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD)
  and the Commission of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOW
 AS)\, jointly with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands\, is
  organizing a meeting to present the Regional E-commerce Strategy Developm
 ent project in ECOWAS to Embassies of the Netherlands in ECOWAS Member Sta
 tes. This meeting aims to promote synergies\, information sharing and coor
 dination of activities between UNCTAD and the relevant Embassies of the Ne
 therlands.   \n\nThe Regional E-commerce Strategy Development project i
 n ECOWAS is supported by the government of the Netherlands as part of the 
 UNCTAD’s eT Ready Implementation Support Mechanism (ISM). The project st
 arted in October 2021 with several regional and national consultative meet
 ings and the preparation of a regional eTrade Readiness Assessment buildin
 g on the eTrade Readiness Assessments undertaken by UNCTAD for ECOWAS Memb
 er States between 2018 and 2020.\n&lt\;p&gt\;The United Nations Conference
