DESCRIPTION:UNCTAD and the Commission of the Economic Community of West Af
 rican States (ECOWAS) are organising the third Regional Meeting on the dev
 elopment of an ECOWAS E-commerce Strategy bringing together representati
 ves of the ECOWAS Commission and two national focal points from each ECOWA
 S member states\, representing the Trade and ICT Ministries. \n\nThe main
  objective of the meeting is to kick off the strategy formulation process.
  ECOWAS Members States will discuss and adopt orientations for the ECOWAS 
 E-Commerce Strategy. The meeting will also be an opportunity to present th
 e next steps in the strategy formulation process\, including the proposed 
 structure for the strategy document.\n\nThe Regional E-commerce Strategy D
 evelopment project in ECOWAS is supported by the government of the Netherl
 ands as part of the UNCTAD’s eT Ready Implementation Support Mechanism (
 ISM).\n&lt\;p&gt\;UNCTAD and the Commission of the&amp\;nbsp\;Economic Com
 munity of West African States (ECOWAS) are organising the third Regional M
