DESCRIPTION:The 2022 Financing for Sustainable Development Report\, issued 
 by the Secretary-General&#039\;s Inter-Agency Task Force on Financing for 
 Development\, examines how unfavourable financing terms\, such as high bor
 rowing costs and debt overhangs\, prevent developing counties from respond
 ing to the COVID-19 pandemic and investing in sustainable development\, an
 d what can be done to enable countries to achieve the SDGs.\n\nUNCTAD is o
 ne of the main stakeholders of the IATF and mainly contributes to four cha
 pters in the report:\n\n\nChapter III. B Domestic and international privat
 e business and finance\nChapter III.D International trade as an engine for
  development\,\nChapter III. E Debt and debt sustainability\,\nChapter III
 . G Science\, technology\, innovation and capacity building\n\n\nThe Genev
 a presentation of the FSDR 2022 will focus on these four chapters and pres
 ent to the audience their main messages and recent updates.\n\nRebeca Gryn
 span\, Secretary-General of UNCTAD and Liu Zhenmin\, Under-Secretary-Gener
 al of the United Nations will make opening remarks\, followed by presentat
 ions from panellists.\n\nPanelists:\n\n\nMiho Shirotori\, Head\, Trading S
 ystems\, Services and Creative Economy will intervene on trade\n \nStepha
 nie Blankenburg\, Head\, Debt and Development Finance will intervene on de
