DESCRIPTION:UNCTAD Competition and Consumer Policies Branch has been implem
 enting a technical cooperation project on Competition policy and SMEs with
 in the United Nations Development Account COVID-19 Response project “Glo
 bal Initiative towards post-COVID-19 Resurgence of the MSME sector” in c
 ooperation with the five United Nations Regional Economic Commissions (UN-
 ECLAC\, UN-ESCAP\, UN-ECA\, UN-ECE\, UN-ESCWA).\n\nThe project’s product
 s and activities include a global report on the interlinkage between compe
 tition and MSME policies\, 3 national studies on the impact of COVID-19 on
  specific SME sectors in Brazil\, Thailand\, and South Africa\, 5 regional
  dialogues and 1 global policy dialogue on how the recommendations from th
 e global report and the three national studies can support the recovery of
  MSMEs. \n\nBetween 27 and 28 June 2022\, UNCTAD-CCPB will present the th
 ree final products developed during Phase III of the  project\, aimed at 
 facilitating the economic recovery post COVID-19 through enhanced particip
 ation of MSMEs in the offline and online marketplaces: \n\n\nHarnessing t
