 evelopment (MoITED) with the support of the UNCTAD and the Deutsche Gesell
 schaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH have initiated work t
 o develop a national E-commerce Strategy for Kenya in line with its vision
  of a digitally empowered citizenry\, living in a digitally enabled societ
 y.\n\nThe e-commerce strategy will provide a strategic vision that aims to
  foster continued emergence of a robust domestic e-commerce ecosystem by i
 dentifying economic opportunities that are supportive of Kenya’s strateg
 ic development goals\, including those contained in the country’s Vision
  2030\, the Digital Economy Blueprint\, the National Information Communica
 tion and Technology Policy and other key policy documents.\n\nThe three-da
 y retreat will bring together a core group of national stakeholders\, UNCT
 AD and the British Standards Institution (an eTrade for all partner)\, to 
 review and further develop the draft of an e-commerce strategy for Kenya.\
