DESCRIPTION:In this session the group of Small Island Developing States (SI
 DS) will be briefed on the launch of the Project “TRAINFORTRADE blended
  learning strategy to boost the digital economy in Small Island Develop
 ing States of Africa\, the Caribbean and Asia-Pacific”. \n\nThe aim of 
 this meeting is to give SIDS representatives an opportunity to become be
 tter acquainted with and provide comments related to the project and its p
 lan of action that will be implemented in their respective countries and 
 regions during the next four years.\n\nThe project will be structured in 
 the following three different components:\n\n\nLegal Aspects of e-Commerce
 \;\nDigital Economy Statistics\; and\nDigital Identity for Trade and Devel
 opment.\n\n\nThis project will be implemented in collaboration with the Ec
 onomic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP)\, the Econom
 ic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC)\, the United Nat
 ions Economic Commission for Africa (ECA)\, the United Nations Department 
 of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA)\, the United Nations Statistics Divi
 sion (UNSD)\, the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UN
 CITRAL)\, the United Nations Resident Coordinator System\, and the World T
 rade Organization (WTO).\n&lt\;p&gt\;In this session the group of Small Is
 land Developing States (SIDS) will be briefed on the launch of the&amp\;nb
