DESCRIPTION:In the context of UNCTAD&#039\;s project &quot\;Technology asse
 ssment in the energy and agricultural sectors in Africa to accelerate prog
 ress on Science\, Technology and Innovation&#039\;&#039\;\, and at the req
 uest of the Government of the Seychelles\, a review will be undertaken of 
 STI policies\, STI capacity and STI system in Seychelles. The workshop’s
  objective is support the implementation of the Technology Assessment (TA)
  project in Seychelles through an improved understanding of the relevant p
 olicy and systemic challenges identified in the Science\, Technology and I
 nnovation Policy (STIP) Review that will be part of the TA exercise of the
  country.\n\n \n\nThe workshop will be focusing on elaborating the follow
 ing:\n\n\nPurpose of STI Policy Review\nAchievements and Challenges of Cur
 rent STI Policy\nLandscape of STI Policy globally\nAssessing the Knowledge
  and Integration of the current STI Policy objectives\nPresentation and su
