DESCRIPTION:This side event will explore the role of youth in STI for the p
 romotion of innovation in the sustainable production sector. This side eve
 nt will provide a space for a range of stakeholders to discuss pathways\, 
 opportunities and challenges to strengthen the technical and innovation ca
 pacity of youth. Focus will be on how to strengthen ecosystems for youth t
 o leverage green windows of opportunities to create\, adapt and implement 
 green technologies.\n\nThe format of this side event will split into two d
 ifferent sections. The first section will allow one expert with tracked ca
 reer experience and one early career professional to each share their pers
 pectives of the roles and drivers for young entre(intra)preneurs in taking
  advantage of green windows of opportunities. The second half will be a se
 mi-structured debate on gaps\, barriers\, and opportunities for a multi-st
 akeholder engagement to increase youth participation in the green economy.
